Asim Zaman is the President and Founder of Redstone Technologies LLC, where he leads the strategic direction and technical execution of the firm’s innovative transportation solutions. A licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Asim brings a decade of experience in transportation engineering and project management, previously serving as a senior engineer for the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

As a project engineer at the Rutgers Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT), Asim managed over $8,000,000 in research grants, specializing in the development of AI-driven railroad data analytics, edge computing algorithms, and specialized hardware. A 2020 Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellow, his award-winning research in AI-based trespassing detection continues to inform Redstone’s mission to modernize rail safety. Asim holds an M.S. in Railroad Engineering and currently serves as the Principal Investigator on high-level monitoring and data analytics projects for major regional rail carriers.
